Her career began on the operational front lines of revenue cycle management, where she learned quickly that the difference between a thriving organization and a struggling one often comes down to structure, accountability, and charge integrity. Over the past+ 18 years, Dee has led revenue stabilization efforts across academic medical centers, nonprofit health systems, and enterprise healthcare organizations — consistently stepping into environments where revenue was at risk and rebuilding the infrastructure to protect it.
She has safeguarded and recovered more than $10M in at-risk revenue, driven $25M+ in collections improvement, reduced denials by 18%, and improved net collections through governance redesign and system optimization. Her leadership spans the full lifecycle of revenue — from clinician charge capture and CDM governance to AR oversight, reconciliation controls, and executive KPI reporting. When workflows shift and risk increases, she builds the controls that prevent revenue leakage and restore operational clarity.

Raquel Brown serves as Managing Director of Optimization, bringing more than 20 years of executive revenue cycle leadership to our organization. She specializes in building high-performance revenue infrastructures that strengthen financial outcomes while improving operational efficiency across complex healthcare systems.
Raquel has overseen revenue operations for a 500+ multi-specialty physician hospital group, consistently meeting and exceeding key financial benchmarks. An Epic-certified leader, she brings deep expertise in medical billing, coding integrity, compliance, denials management, and enterprise-level workflow optimization.
Her leadership experience includes managing revenue cycle operations and accounts receivable for more than 230 physicians across two hospital systems, where she significantly reduced A/R days and improved net collections. She is known for transforming underperforming revenue environments into data-driven, accountable, and performance-focused operations.
